Based upon a secure contactless chip card (Mifare Ev1 128AES), IOLAN has developed hardware and software products by which internal payment transactions can be effected and managed securely, fully automatically, swiftly and correctly. The hardware takes care of secure communication with the user's payment card and booking from the internal transactional account in the bank module. The software processes all transactions, however small, fully automatically and enables them to be monitored and reported. Cash is no longer needed. For example, a detainee can place his own shop orders at the service post, make controlled calls (in cell/room or department) and top up.
With the IOLAN visitor control, detainees can plan activities themselves, such as work and visits. The conditions, such as day/time and duration, are extensively adjustable. The operation is simple and via touch screen at a service station. Orders can therefore also be placed at this post and, if desired, an intercom connection is possible for calling or helpdesk function. All actions at the station are ID related, and white or black lists can be created for calling.
