Department Research & Development
IOLAN develops hardware, embedded software and software applications in-house. This one combination guarantees an optimal and seamless integration of products within a system. IOLAN has its own line for access control, intercom/telephony, security management and system integration.
The R&D Department is responsible for research and development of IOLAN's wide range of products. New products are tested extensively and developed in compliance with the CE mark and FCC. Hardware such as PCBs, fine-pitch SMDs and complete products such as card readers are developed. The IOLAN Sphere software is also being developed further, enabling it to be engineered by the Projects Department to the specific needs of particular customers. Development is performed under continual monitoring of the latest market developments, and the security of and secure communication by IOLAN products are paramount. Once they have been developed to the production stage, products are subject to a process of continual further development and improvement. The value of an in-house R&D department comes to the fore in custom hardware and software solutions. These are subject to exceptionally demanding user tests.
